The BUSTER 2000 is equipped with a Power Safe function (dimming function). This means that the light automatically switches to a lower, energy-saving lighting mode when the battery reaches a defined level of 39% remaining capacity. This allows the remaining battery life to be extended and you are also informed that your battery has already reached a certain level of discharge. As soon as this automatic safety function takes effect, it can be cancelled independently so that any light mode can be switched on again manually. To do this, the indicator on the light unit must light up red continuously after the POWER SAFE function has been activated. When using the extension cable, there may be minimal delays before each mode can be switched on again manually due to very small voltage differences between the light unit and the battery. You can avoid this behaviour by switching back to high power mode with a quick change of light mode after activating the POWER SAFE function.
