Neustadt an der Weinstraße, 04. may 2022 With its innovative functions, the AURA 100 / BLAZE LINK set accompanies cyclists safely and comfortably during training and leisure. The set consists of the front light AURA 100 LINK and the rear brake light BLAZE LINK. The highlight: Thanks to an innovative link function, the lights can be coupled with each other in a flash via BLE. Once connected, both lights can be switched on and off via the AURA 100 LINK front light and controlled intuitively. In Auto mode, an integrated brightness sensor automatically switches both lights on and off. This ensures visibility and safety even during the day – for example when passing tunnels or dark forest paths. LED indicators on the top of the front light always provide an overview of the battery status of both lights as well as the set mode. The innovative lighting set received a Winner Award at Eurobike 2021.

Full power: AURA 100 LINK
With up to 100 lux luminosity and 110 meters headlamp range, the AURA 100 LINK is SIGMA’s most powerful front light and ensures good visibility in road traffic. The strong and homogeneous illumination is made possible by a high-quality, specially developed converging lens in combination with a high-power Osram LED. Cyclists have five lighting modes to choose from: In Standard mode, the front light shines for up to 3 hours at 100 lux, in Mid mode for 4 hours at 75 lux and in Low mode for 6 hours at 50 lux. If the ride takes a little longer, the Eco mode provides sufficient illumination for up to 12 hours at 25 lux. In “Auto” mode, an integrated brightness sensor automatically switches the front light on and off and adjusts the illuminance to the ambient light. This saves battery power and is ideal if it ever gets dark on a stretch of road. The display of the AURA 100 LINK always shows in which mode the front light is currently being used. The side light strip acts as a light guide and increases visibility from the side. An important safety feature to stand out better, especially in road traffic. The Quick Release is practical: The integrated slider makes the AURA 100 LINK even more suitable for everyday use. The light can be easily pulled off the bracket and stowed away to save space – and when needed can be reattached to the handlebar in seconds..

Perfect partner: The BLAZE LINK rear light
The rear light BLAZE LINK significantly increases the safety of the rider in road traffic with a luminous range of about 500 meters, an integrated brake light function and the Auto mode. Thanks to the acceleration sensor integrated in the BLAZE LINK, three luminous LEDs clearly signal the braking process to other road users. The brightness sensor detects the ambient light and automatically switches the rear light on and off again in poor lighting conditions, ensuring the safety and visibility of the cyclist in road traffic. In the AURA 100 / BLAZE LINK set, both AURA 100 LINK and BLAZE LINK can be used separately.
