SIGMA presents the next generation of smart bicycle lights: the AURA 40, AURA 50 and AURA MICRO front lights and the HIRO 10 NYTE 10 and HIRO MICRO rear lights combine modern technology with an appealing design – and ensure increased safety and visibility in road traffic.

The RIDE SAFE TO SCHOOL campaign brings the lights into play as superheroes with special abilities, creating an entertaining and educational experience – and not just for the youngest road users.
Visibility becomes a superhero theme
The campaign centres on animated ‘superheroes in road traffic’ that attract attention with action-packed scenes. NYTE, Captain of Light and HIRO the Safety Commander symbolise the new lights, whose aim is to make cyclists like the smart raccoon KOTA visible and safe in every situation – especially in everyday urban life, e.g. on the way to school, at dusk or in poor lighting conditions. The RIDE SAFE TO SCHOOL campaign is aimed specifically at children and families. It communicates the importance of good bicycle lighting in a playful and emotional way and makes the topic of visibility tangible.
‘With our new lights, we are not only focussing on technical innovation, but also on emotionally accessible communication,’ explains Daniel Conka, Division Manager Product Development. ‘Our superheroes are designed to motivate children to engage with the topic of safety – and at the same time show parents how important good bicycle lighting is.’

New design meets sophisticated function
The new lights from SIGMA impress with technical and visual improvements that make them particularly suitable for children. The improved light pattern ensures significantly better visibility and visibility in the dark – a decisive safety factor for children on the way to school. Thanks to the long battery life, the lights are reliable even when used regularly – ideal for the daily journey to school. The simple and flexible mounting with screw or silicone holder and quick release allows parents to attach them quickly and children to use them easily.
Particularly practical: the mode memory function remembers the last light level used, while the short-click function displays the battery status without having to switch on the light – helpful for a quick check before setting off.
The robust and splash-proof housings (IP44) of the AURA 40 and AURA 50 are durable and can withstand everyday school use. Together with the StVZO-compliant HIRO 10 and NYTE 10 rear lights, which are visible for up to 500 metres and offer lateral visibility of 240 degrees, they contribute to a high level of safety.
MICRO LIGHTS with flexible mounting options
Also new are the compact MICRO lights, which are particularly suitable for smaller bikes, short distances or flexible use. The AURA MICRO front light is equipped with two light modes and is easily attached to the handlebars with an elasticated strap. Its rear light counterpart, the HIRO MICRO, can not only be mounted on the seat post, but can also be attached to bags, rucksacks or saddlebags thanks to its integrated clip – ideal for children, commuters or anyone looking for an additional, mobile lighting solution. Both models are USB-C chargeable, StVZO-compliant and impress with their intuitive handling.
