With the RECO 81 LINK, you are optimally protected on every ride. The smart radar with integrated rear light detects vehicles approaching you from behind and at the same time makes you visible from afar – day and night. Brake light and emergency brake light provide an additional plus in safety.
The radar detection range is 140 meters and object detection up to 8 vehicles.
All bike computers with ANT+ radar profile are compatible with RECO 81 Link. Connection via BLE with the SIGMA RIDE app for updates and status display.

RADAR features
Safety with vision
The radar of the RECO 81 LINK ensures that approaching vehicles do not miss you: a bright warning light signals to motorists that they are approaching a cyclist. At the same time, if you are using a bike computer compatible with RECO 81, you will be warned yourself and can adjust your pace and position on the road accordingly.
Digital rearview mirror
Connect your RECO 81 LINK to your GPS bike computer via ANT+ and always keep an eye on the traffic behind you. The system detects up to eight vehicles approaching and shows them directly on your display. RECO 81 LINK Radar distinguishes between normally approaching objects and fast-approaching vehicles.
Dispersion axis and angle of view
The RECO 81 LINK convinces with a well thought-out dispersion axis: A dispersion of 2 × 30° from the center axis ensures that vehicles are perceived in a wide corridor behind you. Up to 8 objects are detected by the radar at a distance of up to 140 meters. The light has a 220-degree viewing angle – so you stay visible all around – for maximum safety day and night.
Visual and audible alarms
Connect your RECO 81 LINK to your SIGMA ROX 12.1 or 11.1 EVO GPS bike computer and receive visual and audible warnings as soon as vehicles approach from behind – so you can react immediately. From spring 2026, SIGMA RIDE app users will also be able to benefit from the safety features of the RECO models. Then there will also be the possibility in the RIDE app to be alerted acoustically and visually to approaching vehicles. Until then, the RECO 80 LINK and RECO 81 LINK can be connected to the RIDE app to display the status and perform firmware updates.

The radar rear light has an integrated LED brake light function as well as an emergency brake light function that reacts in a fraction of a second. This way, the following traffic will notice you when it matters most.

Your RECO is compatible with the SIGMA AURA 100 Link front light. The connection creates an intelligent lighting combination in which you can conveniently operate both devices via the front light and always keep an eye on the battery level. This allows you to control your entire lighting setup at the touch of a button – simple, safe and smart. You can see how this works in this video:
rechargeable
RECO 81 LINK is rechargeable via USB-C – very uncomplicated and environmentally friendly. In about 3 hours, the battery is fully charged and ready for your next tour.
Six modes. Full flexibility.
RECO 81 LINK has six light modes for every driving situation. In High Mode, the rear light provides strong continuous illumination, while Radar Only Mode only activates the light when a vehicle is approaching – with a runtime of up to 30 hours. In addition, Day Flash, Night Flash, Eco Flash and the innovative Peloton Mode are available. This is specially developed for group rides: it reduces the light intensity so as not to dazzle passengers, while the radar function remains active – for safety in the team and maximum consideration.

Dimensions
Fits every bike
No matter what bike you ride, the RECO 81 LINK is easy and secure to attach thanks to its flexible mounting options. With the included rubber adapters, it fits perfectly on D-seatposts, aero seatposts or round seatposts. You can then twist our radar into the holder using a twist lock. This means that your rear light sits stably and optimally aligned – for maximum visibility on every ride.
