Visibility is more than just light—it’s a feeling of safety, control, and freedom on every ride. With the NYTE 70, SIGMA is launching a rear light that enhances precisely this feeling. Compact in design, powerful in performance, and consistently designed to attract attention, the NYTE 70 combines state-of-the-art lighting technology with intelligent safety features for everyday use as well as ambitious rides.
Neustadt an der Weinstraße, January 2026 Safety requires visibility, and visibility requires technology. This is precisely where the new SIGMA NYTE 70 comes in. Technologically, the NYTE 70 is based on the same high-quality COB light platform that has already proven itself in the HIRO 70. Both models offer a homogeneous, powerful light surface, high energy efficiency, and integrated brake and emergency brake lights for additional safety on the road. But while the HIRO 70 was developed as a StVZO-compliant solution specifically for the German market, the NYTE 70 deliberately goes one step further.
Proven technology, expanded for international requirements
With its three additional flash modes – DAY FLASH, NIGHT FLASH, and ECO FLASH – the NYTE 70 opens up more possibilities in countries where flashing rear lights are permitted, ensuring even greater visibility during the day, at night, and in complex traffic situations. The NYTE 70 is therefore the international answer to different legal requirements and driving habits worldwide—without compromising on quality, technology, or safety.
Six lighting modes plus intelligent brake and emergency brake function
An integrated AUTO mode automatically switches the light on and off depending on the ambient conditions.
In addition to the three flash modes, the integrated brake and emergency brake light function used in the HIRO 70 is also a key safety feature. Sensors detect deceleration and clearly signal this to traffic behind. Brake light: Two additional LEDs light up briefly during normal braking. Emergency brake light: During sudden emergency braking, the LEDs flash for about one second, significantly increasing the warning effect. This difference can be crucial, especially in heavy city traffic or in poor visibility conditions.
Flexible, durable, suitable for everyday use
Thanks to its quick-release system, the NYTE 70 can be mounted on the seat post without tools, either vertically or horizontally.
The innovative seat stay mount is new: it simply clicks onto the seat stays from below, allowing the light to be easily mounted. This opens up an additional, particularly stable and elegant mounting option.
With a battery life of up to 20 hours, USB-C charging technology, and a clear battery status indicator, it is ideally equipped for everyday use—from commuting to longer trips.
