Simplify Cycling: SIGMA RIDE app with function update
For those who are travelling without a GPS bike computer but still want to record their rides with their smartphone, the free SIGMA RIDE app offers an exciting new function: from now on, cyclists can record their training within the RIDE app.
Neustadt an der Weinstraße, 3 July 2024 Thanks to this feature, it’s child’s play to document every tour and benefit from the app’s numerous functions at the same time.
To start the ride, all you have to do is start the tour within the RIDE app – and you’re ready to go. The app measures all relevant training data. Cyclists can also use Search and Go or track selection to display navigation instructions or listen to them via voice output. The function allows up to six different data fields to be shown simultaneously on the smartphone display, which users can customise. The font size of the displayed data automatically adapts to the smartphone’s settings so that all information is always easy to read, even while cycling.
Perfectly connected
Ambitious cyclists who use additional sensors can synchronise SIGMA’s own accessories such as heart rate monitors or cadence sensors with the RIDE app – for even more precise recording. In conjunction with the new SIGMA REMOTE ONE, which will be available from the end of the year, essential functions such as start, stop and switching between different views can be controlled conveniently and safely from the handlebars.
All the data recorded in the app is fed into the comprehensive statistics of the SIGMA RIDE app so that users always have an overview of their performance and progress.
